Google and the flu

While skimming through the New York Times' mobile version i found an interesting link. Practically Google aggregates search data based on keywords like "flu symptoms" groups it into geographical regions and displays it in nice graphs.
What surprises me is that the data is very accurate and is provided faster than the C.D.C(Center for Diesease Control)'s own data. It's quite nice to see things like this developed and it makes you wonder where is teh internet going and what else can you do with all the data floating around. :)
